      Hello everyone,

      I’m new to SOTA and decided to give it a try since I’ve been using a lot of deep learning in LabVIEW through Python nodes and wanted to explore something new.
      I just downloaded SOTA along with the Deep Learning module and some models. I’m currently using LabVIEW 2020 SP1 (64-bit) on Windows 10.

      The issue I’m facing is that I always get the same error (Error 42, as shown below) regardless of which example I try to run.

      Capture

      So far, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, including LabVIEW. I’ve also attempted all the basic fixes, such as clearing the LabVIEW cache, recompiling, etc, but nothing has worked so far.

      Thanks in advance for your help,
      Clément

        Hi Clément,

        Sorry for the delay (we were investigating).

        Regarding the bugs you reported, particularly the error 42 with the examples, we believe we have identified the source of the issue. It seems that the version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable on your system is not compatible with the DLLs we are using for DL.

        Could you please update the redistributables? To do so, visit this link:
        Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable

        Download the installer for X64, run it, and install the latest available version (this is done automatically).

        After the installation, test the examples again. If it still doesn’t work:

        • Try restarting LabVIEW first.
        • If the issue persists, restart your PC.
        • If the problem remains unresolved, please get back to us.

          A bientôt ! Youssef
