Graiphic Submits Application to EIC Accelerator to Drive AI Innovation with SOTA

By Youssef MENJOUR , Graiphic CTO

We’ve just submitted our full proposal for the second phase of the EIC Accelerator, an incredibly selective program that funds breakthrough technologies in Europe. This is a crucial opportunity for Graiphic, and we’re excited to transform the artificial intelligence (AI) landscape with our revolutionary solution: SOTA.

SOTA is an all-in-one platform designed to redefine AI development by integrating LabVIEW and ONNX Runtime. With the graphical programming interface of LabVIEW, developing AI models is now more accessible, even for non-programmers. Moreover, the integration of ONNX Runtime ensures unprecedented interoperability between popular frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, while maximizing performance across a wide range of hardware platforms.

Accelerating the AI Development Lifecycle

Where many existing solutions suffer from fragmentation and complexity, SOTA simplifies and accelerates the prototyping, testing, and deployment of AI solutions. This time and efficiency gain will be a major advantage for industrial enterprises as well as academic researchers.

What is the EIC Accelerator?

The EIC Accelerator is part of the European Innovation Council under the Horizon Europe program. It provides substantial funding to innovative start-ups and SMEs that are developing high-risk, high-impact technologies in areas such as AI, quantum computing, and space. The program offers up to €2.5 million in grant funding, with the possibility of equity financing of up to €15 million for scaling up. The selection process is highly competitive, involving three steps: a short proposal, a full proposal, and a face-to-face interview with a jury in Brussels. Only the most promising projects are invited to the final oral presentation

We are proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s next. Starting at the end of October, we will begin deploying SOTA, gradually rolling out its various tools and toolkits integrated into the platform.

We’re crossing our fingers that our full proposal clears this crucial second stage, allowing us to defend SOTA in person in Brussels during the final oral presentation!

A Promising Future for Graiphic in European AI Innovation

Graiphic is positioning itself as a key player in European AI innovation. With SOTA, we’re providing a robust and accessible solution for engineers and researchers, enabling them to overcome the current barriers of AI development. We look forward to sharing this technological revolution with our partners and clients, and we hope that our participation in the EIC Accelerator will serve as a springboard for widespread adoption of our technology.

Integration into LabVIEW

With the LabVIEW deep learning module, LabVIEW users will soon be able to benefit from advanced features to run models like Llama 3.1. This module will enable these models to operate on LabVIEW, providing top-tier performance for complex computer vision tasks. Key features offered by this toolkit include:

  • Full compatibility with existing frameworks: Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX.
  • Impressive performance: The new LabVIEW deep learning tools will allow executions 50 times faster than the previous generation and 20% faster than PyTorch.
  • Extended hardware support: CUDA, TensorRT for NVIDIA, Rocm for AMD, OneAPI for Intel.
  • Maximum modularity: Define your own layers and loss functions.
  • Graph neural networks: Complete and advanced integration.
  • Annotation tools: An annotator as efficient as Roboflow, integrated into our software suite.
  • Model visualization: Utilizing Netron for graphical model summaries.
  • Generative AI: Complete library for execution, fine-tuning, and RAG setup for Llama 3 and Phi 3 models.
